Robert Van Uden, M.D., is a board certified physician specializing in orthopedics at Southern Orthopedics.

Dr. Van Uden’s specialties/training includes Sports Medicine, Total Joint Replacement, Foot and Ankle, and Osteoporosis Diagnosis and Treatment.

Dr. Van Uden completed his undergraduate studies at Oregon State University and later received his medical degree from the University of Washington. His internship took place at the Naval Hospital in St. Albans, New York. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at West Virginia University.

Dr. Van Uden plays an active role in local community organizations such as Rotary Club and the Knights of Columbus. His involvement with professional organizations includes memberships in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Mississippi State Medical Association and the American College of Sports Medicine.
